increase in the wave energy when it reaches the shore<\/p>\n<p>( increased x 4).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lacmercier.ca\/slide18-2-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone inversely linked to the distance between the boat and the shoreline<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lacmercier.ca\/slide32-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2714\" src=\"http:\/\/lacmercier.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Slide32.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" 300 m. to dissipate.<\/p>\n<p>The damage caused by waves from wakeboats is significantly reduced if they are generated 300 m or more from the shore.<\/p>\n<p>Waves created by wakesurf activity have the greatest impact when the wave reaches the shore.\u00a0 (1.7 times higher than a regular boat wake)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lacmercier.ca\/slide17-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
