{"id":4652,"date":"2020-02-14T12:18:32","date_gmt":"2020-02-14T17:18:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lacmercier.ca\/?page_id=4652\/"},"modified":"2022-03-21T13:26:44","modified_gmt":"2022-03-21T17:26:44","slug":"being-a-member","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lacmercier.ca\/en\/being-a-member\/","title":{"rendered":"Becoming a Member"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Summary of the article 2 of \u00ab R\u00c8GLEMENT N<sup>o<\/sup> #2019-1 \u00bb modified on May 21, 2019 :<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>\u00a0\u00ab 4.12\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Member of the Association<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A member of the Association is any person, organization publiclly-traded or non-profit company that has been so designated by the Executive Committee, who conforms to all the requirements for membership, and who has submitted a written request on the application form, and has paid the fee.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Every member must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">a)\u00a0 be an individual over 18 years of age;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">b)\u00a0 if a public or non-profit company, one person must be designated to represent the entity, and the name submitted to the secretary of the Association;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">c)\u00a0 be a \u201c<strong>Resident of lac Mercier<\/strong>\u201d * or the \u201c<strong>Owner of a qualifying piece of vacant<\/strong>\u201d **;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">d)\u00a0 submit an application on the appropriate form,<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">e)\u00a0 pay the membership fee as determined from time to time by the Executive Committee.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0*\u00a0 A \u00ab <strong>Resident\u00a0of lac Mercier<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb is the owner on title of:<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">i) a piece of property along the shore of the lake within the watershed of lac Mercier, <strong>upon which is built<\/strong> a seasonal or permanent residence or a commercial, or non-profit enterprise,<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;
